Extended Usage of the Inogen One G2
The 24 cell battery for the Inogen One G2 is for the traveling oxygen patient, or the patient that doesn’t mind adding a little extra weight in exchange for an extended battery life. On a setting 2, the 24 cell battery will operate for up to an incredible 8 hours. That means you can fly from California to New York on a single battery! Though it is recommended to have multiple batteries on hand, as the FAA requires 150% of the flight time in battery life.

Stay Aware of When it is Time to Recharge

Charging the 24 cell battery is quick, easy, and there are multiple ways to charge. When the 24 cell is hooked up to the G2, it will automatically charge when the AC or DC power supply. Throughout the duration of charging, all flow settings can be used but doing this will add additional time to the charging cycle.
