Description

Invacare SOLO2 Battery

The most exciting part about the SOLO2 is the option to go Solo once again! No more worrying about running out of oxygen or waiting around for tank service.

The SOLO2 gives you plenty of battery life to spend time with loved ones, enjoy an intimate dinner, attend a sporting event or even just enjoy a day away from home.

This easy loading battery slides into the back of the concentrator and is ready to go.

The battery also features a very slender profile to make carrying extras easy and convenient.

Once loaded, it can provide up to 3.5 hours of life on a pulse flow of 2 or 2.5 hours on 2 LPM continuous.

Advantages of the Invacare SOLO2 Battery:

  • Under 3 Pounds
  • Provides up to 4.5 Hours of Battery Life
  • Easy Changing Battery That Is Protected By The Traveling Cart
  • Charges With Both A/C and D/C Power

User-Friendly Features

The easily accessible battery is located on the back of the machine.  Many concentrators have a battery located on the front of the machine where it can be susceptible to moisture or damage.

This is not the case with the SOLO2. The one touch release cover easily slides free. The cover and cart protect the battery from shocks and moisture making this concentrator one of the best choices for travel. The battery is very slim and compact allowing for easy transport of extras.

Recharge Multiple Ways

The SOLO2 Battery can be charged in a variety of ways. Both AC and DC chargers are included in the standard package. No need to carry an external device, the SOLO2 battery can be charged with the unit itself making it easy to travel with.

Charging with the AC Power Supply

The quickest and easiest method of charging the battery is with the AC power supply. Be sure to turn off the unit first then simply plug the unit in, turn it on and it will immediately begin charging the battery.

The cord plugs into the conveniently located port on the side of the unit. If you require constant supplemental oxygen the Solo 2 is a great option for you.

This concentrator will both charge and run on all settings using the AC power supply. Keep in mind that when traveling overseas, a universal power adapter is required to work in foreign outlets.

Charging with the DC Power Supply

Perfect for long road trips the SOLO 2 runs and charges on all pulse settings and most continuous settings using the DC power supply. The charging capacity depends on the amperage output of the vehicle.

Newer cars should charge on all pulse settings and at least up to 2 LPM continuous flow. Keep in mind that you should always plug any concentrator in the outlet that is closest to the car battery.

Plugging the unit into the backseat makes charging less effective. Be sure the unit is powered off before plugging in the charger.
